I recently had an amazing experience at The Adria, a luxurious boutique hotel located in the heart of South Kensington in West London. This stunning hotel, housed in a 19th-century Victorian townhouse, is just a short walk away from South Kensington and Gloucester Road Underground Stations, making it convenient to explore the city. The hotel’s elegant interiors were designed by the renowned Hirsch Bedner, known for their work in some of the world’s most prestigious hotels.
During my stay at The Adria, I was impressed by the attention to detail in the Parliament executive room I stayed in. The room was beautifully appointed with a wooden, 4-poster bed, a luxurious marble bathroom, and modern amenities like a Nespresso machine and flatscreen TV. Despite its central location, the room was peaceful and quiet, offering a relaxing retreat from the bustling city.
One of the highlights of my stay was the Afternoon Tea Experience at The Adria. This meticulously crafted menu featured a selection of finger sandwiches, open sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and a variety of sweet treats. The tea selection, curated in partnership with Newby, the world’s most awarded luxury tea brand, was presented in an innovative way that allowed guests to explore different flavors and aromas before making their selection.
The service at The Adria was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. I was pleased to learn that the hotel can accommodate dietary restrictions, offering vegan and gluten-free options, as well as a special Archie’s Teddy Tea for children.
In addition to the Afternoon Tea Experience, I also enjoyed a delicious breakfast the following morning, featuring Eggs Benedict made with high-quality ingredients. The Adria truly sets the standard for luxury, comfort, and quality, making it a worthwhile choice for a special stay in London.
