So, like, Nathan Jones, the manager of Charlton Athletic, has been all optimistic about this young player, Zach Mitchell, who got loaned out. Mitchell, who is just 20 years old, went to play for St Johnstone in Scotland at the beginning of February and has played like 10 games. But then, he hurt his hamstring and missed out on a big game against Celtic in the Scottish FA Cup semi-final last weekend.
Jones was all like, “He’s been doing pretty good, you know? It sucks that he missed the semi-final because of his hamstring, but hey, it’s all part of the learning process, right?” And he’s all hopeful about Mitchell’s future and stuff. He’s all like, “We couldn’t give him enough game time here, so St Johnstone was able to give him more. It’s been a good loan for him.”
The head coach of St Johnstone, Simo Valakari, is like, “Well, Zach really wants to come back and play before the season ends. It’s cool to see him so motivated. He’s not just trying to recover for himself, but he wants to help the team too.” So, they’re gonna keep an eye on him for a couple of weeks and then decide what to do next. Sounds like a pretty interesting situation, right?
