There are currently significant delays on the M25 near Westerham due to a collision between a car and a lorry, as reported by traffic monitoring service Inrix. Additionally, there are delays on the M25 near Sevenoaks, Kent, resulting from a separate incident involving a broken down lorry. The incident near Westerham in Surrey has led to congestion on the M25 anticlockwise, specifically at Clacket Services, extending to J7 on the M23. Clockwise queues are also reported to be stretching back past J5, according to Inrix.
Inrix has provided the following update: “Long delays are being experienced due to an earlier accident on the M25 anticlockwise at Clacket Lane Services. The congestion reaches up to J7 M23, with clockwise queues extending back past J5 due to onlookers. This is occurring in the roadworks area.”
Furthermore, long delays are being reported on the M25 clockwise before J5, on the M26/A21 Sevenoaks, due to a broken down lorry. Congestion is said to be affecting traffic up to J4 near Orpington. Surrey Police has been contacted by MyLondon to verify the incident.
