Detectives in Ladbroke Grove are asking for help in finding out more information about a shooting incident that left two people in the hospital. According to reports, a family of four was in a car on Southern Row when shots were fired around 5:30 pm on Sunday. Although the police have not confirmed the details, a 34-year-old man and an eight-year-old girl, believed to be his daughter, sustained serious injuries and are still in the hospital. The man’s injuries are severe and may be life-changing, while the girl’s injuries are not life-threatening. Fortunately, a two-year-old child and a 32-year-old woman, believed to be the children’s mother, were unharmed.
A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and released on bail until early February pending further investigation. The police are working to determine the motive behind the shooting and are asking for any information that may help with the case.
