A woman named Emma Johnson from Penge has been accused of causing around £7,000 worth of damage to a glass door at Princess Royal University Hospital in Bromley. The incident happened in September last year and court documents show that the damage was valued at £6,994.55. She was charged with damaging the door of an ambulance bay at the hospital.

Emma Johnson, who is 39 years old, appeared in Bromley Magistrates’ court wearing a brown leather jacket and black trainers. Her defense counsel, Suzanna Macauley, mentioned that this was Ms. Johnson’s first appearance regarding the matter. The chairman of the magistrates’ bench decided to adjourn the case and Ms. Johnson was released on unconditional bail. The next hearing for the case is scheduled to take place on November 25 at 10 am in Bromley Magistrates’ Court.

King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, responsible for managing Princess Royal University Hospital, has been contacted for comment on the incident. The extension is expected to be completed at the beginning of next year and will include seven new endoscopy theatres, allowing staff to see up to 4,500 additional patients annually.
