A teenager tragically lost her life in a devastating crash in Plaistow. The incident occurred on Barking Road around 3:45 pm yesterday, as reported by Met Police officers. The young victim, an 18-year-old female pedestrian, was struck by a Nissan Juke that also collided with another vehicle. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene, and her next of kin have been notified.
The driver of the Nissan Juke, a 45-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Following his arrest, he was taken to the hospital for evaluation before being transferred to police custody, where he remains as of Wednesday morning.
