London’s safest and most dangerous areas have recently been identified through a thorough analysis of crime data. This information was compiled by Online Marketing Surgery and West Midland Garage Doors, shedding light on the top five most and least dangerous areas in London based on crime statistics.

According to the data collected from the Office for National Statistics, Westminster emerges as the most dangerous borough in London, with a high crime rate of 446.4 per 1,000 people and a staggering 84,016 reported crimes within a year. Following closely behind is Camden, with a crime rate of 188 and 36,650 reported crimes.

Kensington and Chelsea secures the third spot on the list with a crime rate of 164.5 and 21,328 reported crimes, while Islington and Hammersmith and Fulham occupy the fourth and fifth positions respectively with crime rates of 130.2 and 125.3 per 1,000 people.

On the flip side, Richmond upon Thames stands out as the safest London borough, boasting a low crime rate of 61.1 per 1,000 people and only 11,739 reported crimes. Sutton and Harrow follow closely behind with crime rates of 62.7 and 63.2, and 13,514 and 16,254 reported crimes respectively.

Merton and Bexley round up the top five least dangerous areas in London, with crime rates of 65.1 and 68 per 1,000 people. Merton reported 13,936 crimes, while Bexley reported 16,140 crimes in the same period.

In addition to the top five most and least dangerous areas, other London boroughs also made it to the list. Hackney, Southwark, Lambeth, Tower Hamlets, and Haringey joined the top ten most dangerous areas, while Bromley, Kingston upon Thames, Barnet, Redbridge, and Havering completed the top ten least dangerous areas.
