A woman from South London has made headlines with her bold and adventurous spirit as she embarked on a unique journey across England in the nude. J Antic, a 25-year-old from Peckham, teamed up with her naturist friend Neil Cox, 36, to cycle from Gloucester to Land’s End in Cornwall over the course of 6 days.
The duo, both avid naturists, decided to embark on this unconventional journey as a way to explore the beauty of the English countryside while challenging societal norms around nudity. Riding a tandem bike, J and Neil set off on their 26-mile journey from Gloucester, making stops along the way for nude shopping trips and days out.
Embracing Body Positivity
For J, this nude cycling adventure was a powerful turning point in terms of her own body image and self-confidence. She shared, “It’s been a good turning point for me in terms of my own body image and confidence. I heard somewhere that supposedly having more exposure to non-sexual nudity can have a good impact on others’ self-image. I think that’s always a good thing in this day and age.”
Neil, a finance worker from Stoke, echoed J’s sentiments, highlighting the positive impact that embracing naturism has had on his own well-being. He expressed, “There were times I was worried about a negative reaction, but it was all in my head. After we went through Glastonbury we did get dressed – but only because it was windy and chucking it down with rain!”

Neil shared, “People on social media always have opinions – but we haven’t had many negative reactions. People in Glastonbury were overwhelmingly positive, it was a bit overwhelming.”

Neil emphasized, “There are lots of issues around body image in the world, and if we can do something to make people think all bodies are OK, then that’s a good thing.”
