Police Launch Manhunt for Robbery Suspect Near Hampton Market
A manhunt is underway as police search for a suspect who allegedly robbed a woman near Hampton last Thursday, just before 1 pm. The victim was walking through the market close to Kempton Park Racecourse when a man approached her, forced her to remove a high-value watch, and then fled on foot.
Description of the Suspect
The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, around 5ft8 in height, with a medium build, brown hair, and an Irish accent. At the time of the offence, he was wearing a grey/blue tracksuit with a black gilet, and a snood covering the bottom of his face.
Police Seek Witnesses and Information
Authorities are now urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information that could aid the investigation to come forward. An image of a man believed to be connected to the incident has been circulating on social media, but Surrey Police have confirmed that he is unrelated to the offence. A spokesperson for the force emphasized, “We would ask that the public do not share any further imagery of this individual as he is an innocent party.”
