Knife Attack in South London Sends Man to Hospital – Latest News & Updates

A man was rushed to the hospital after being stabbed in South London on Friday night, September 20. The Metropolitan Police responded to a call from the London Ambulance Service at Gosling Way in Stockwell shortly after 8 pm to reports of a stabbing. The victim, a man in his 20s, was found at the scene and promptly transported to the hospital. Fortunately, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police Investigation Underway

Following the incident, officers are conducting thorough investigations into the attack. They are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist with their enquiries. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing. The incident occurred on Gosling Way, which runs through the Cowley Estate, a large housing complex in South London.

The Metropolitan Police released a statement regarding the incident, stating, “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 20:15 hrs on Friday, 20 September to reports of a man stabbed on Gosling Way, SW9. Officers attended. The man, who is aged in his 20s, was taken to the hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. There have been no arrests, and enquiries continue. Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting CAD 7482/20Sep.”

Recent Incidents of Violence

Less than twelve hours prior to this incident, another stabbing took place in broad daylight in Upminster, where a man had to be rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The attack occurred on Marlborough Gardens, and a crime scene remained in place while officers conducted their investigations.
