Klipsch, a well-known audio brand, has recently collaborated with Devon Turnball of Ojas to create a limited-edition version of the Heresy called the kO-R1. This unique two-way loudspeaker maintains the compact size and approachability of the Heresy but features a different design and sound quality.

Devon Turnball, known for his work with Nom de Guerre and Supreme boutiques, was approached by Klipsch to work on this project. The kO-R1 retains the same dimensions as the Heresy but is constructed with Baltic birch plywood and features a sandcast aluminum horn developed by Turnball using a 3D printer.

One significant change in the kO-R1 is the use of a two-way design instead of the Heresy’s three-way design. Turnball decided to drop the tweeter in favor of simplifying the speaker’s audio delivery.

The kO-R1 also includes a high-frequency gain attenuator and anti-vibration feet for customization and optimal performance. Limited to only 100 units, the kO-R1 is hand-built in Hope, Arkansas, and is available in gray lacquer and red oak veneer finishes for $8,498 per pair exclusively at Ojas.

This collaboration between Klipsch and Ojas offers audio enthusiasts a unique and high-quality loudspeaker option with a distinctive design and excellent sound performance. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to own one of these limited-edition kO-R1 speakers for a truly exceptional audio experience.
