Fitbit has introduced a new feature called the Daily Readiness Score, which is now available for older Fitbit and Google Pixel watches. This feature helps users determine if they are ready for a tough workout or if they need more recovery time based on various metrics.
Initially, the Daily Readiness Score feature was only accessible to Fitbit Premium users. However, with the launch of the Pixel Watch 3, Google has made it free for all users. The feature has now been extended to older Fitbit devices and Pixel watches. According to Google’s support page, the feature is available on devices such as the first-gen Pixel Watch and newer models, Fitbit Charge 5 and 6, Fitbit Inspire 2 and 3, Fitbit Sense and Sense 2, Fitbit Versa 2 and newer models, and Fitbit Luxe. Users need to have version 4.23 of the Fitbit app or a newer version to access this feature.
If you want to view your Daily Readiness Score directly on your device, you will need to have one of the following models: Fitbit Luxe, Charge 5, Charge 6, Inspire 3, Sense, or Sense 2. The readiness score is calculated on a 100-point scale, where a score of 65 or higher indicates readiness for an intense workout, while a score of 29 or lower suggests that you should rest. The score is based on factors such as heart rate variability, recent sleep patterns, and resting heart rate.
This feature is beneficial for users who want to optimize their workout routine and recovery process. By using the Daily Readiness Score, you can make informed decisions about whether to push yourself during a workout or take a day off to allow your body to recover.
