Spiderling Studios is bringing the physics-based building game Besiege to a wider audience with its upcoming release on the Nintendo Switch on September 12. The game is already available on Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC, with PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions set to follow in the coming months. While a specific release date for the PlayStation versions has not been announced, they are expected to be available by December 12, coinciding with the launch in Japan and Asia, including a physical edition published by PLAYISM.

Besiege, which first launched in Early Access on various platforms in 2015 before its full release in 2020, allows players to construct medieval siege engines and use them to wreak havoc on fortresses and villages. Players can build machines capable of demolishing windmills, wiping out soldiers, and transporting resources, all while defending against enemy attacks. The game features fully destructible environments, giving players the freedom to create their own unique war machines and levels.

In addition to the single-player campaign with 54 challenging levels, Besiege offers multiplayer modes for players to compete against each other or team up to complete objectives. The open sandbox environment allows for creative experimentation with machine design, while the level editor lets players customize their own levels and game modes. Custom skins and mod support further enhance the gameplay experience, allowing players to personalize their machines and expand the game with user-generated content.

With the upcoming release on new platforms, Besiege is set to reach a wider audience of players looking to unleash their creativity and strategic skills in a unique physics-based building game. Stay tuned for more updates on the release dates for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, and get ready to conquer kingdoms in the world of Besiege!
