The Lego McLaren P1 is constructed from an impressive 342,817 individual Technic pieces, meticulously put together to replicate the hypercar’s standard carbon tub. Despite weighing only 1220kg, which is over 250kg lighter than the real P1, this Lego version features eight electric motor packs with a total of 768 motors, although it falls short of matching the power output of the actual car.
What sets this Lego creation apart from previous builds is its fully functional steering, allowing it to navigate the twists and turns of the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit. With Formula One driver Lando Norris at the helm, the Lego McLaren P1 completed a lap around the 5.891km track, showcasing the precision and engineering behind this incredible project.
