Croydon Harriers’ young athlete, Kyron-Bailee Burke, showed his impressive skills at the Tattenham Corner cross-country event in the Downs League recently. Burke’s exceptional performance earned him a well-deserved second place finish with a time of 10:58. This achievement marks one of his best runs to date, showcasing his talent and dedication to the sport.
In the U15 category, Sean Leahy demonstrated his strong running abilities by securing second place with a time of 11:09. Additionally, Zephyr Walinets finished in 13th place, completing the race in 13:54. These young athletes displayed determination and skill in a competitive field of runners.
Among the U17 competitors, Lucy Cole stood out by claiming first place with an impressive time of 12:44. Her dominant performance highlights her strength and perseverance as a cross-country runner. Furthermore, Aida Palomares-Dominguez showcased her talent in the U15 event, finishing in sixth place with a time of 13:23.
