The first driver was followed by two men on a quad bike who allegedly assaulted him and demanded his moped on Ashley Road, Epsom, at 10 pm on December 25. Shortly after, two assailants on a quad bike punched a second delivery driver and tried to knock him off his moped at 10:30 pm on Epsom Road, Ewell. A third driver was then allegedly punched after being approached by two quad-bike-driving men at 10:40 pm on the High Street in Ewell.

Detective Inspector Josephine Horner condemned the attacks, stating that the behavior is completely unacceptable, especially given that the victims were simply carrying out their normal jobs on Christmas Day. Police suspect that the incidents are linked due to their similarities and are urging witnesses or anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist with the investigation.
