I had the pleasure of attending a sneak peek event at Fortnum & Mason to get a first look at their highly anticipated Christmas range for 2021. As I wandered through the iconic store, I couldn’t help but feel the excitement building for the festive season ahead.

A Taste of Tradition

Fortnum & Mason, with its rich history dating back to 1707, has long been a beloved destination for those seeking high-quality, luxurious goods. From supplying Buckingham Palace to outfitting Sir Ernest Shackleton’s expedition to the North Pole, the store has a reputation for excellence. This year’s Christmas range is no exception, with a curated selection of hampers ranging from £70 to £1,000. These iconic hampers are a hallmark of the brand and are sure to delight recipients with their assortment of gourmet treats and fine wines.

In addition to their renowned hampers, Fortnum & Mason is offering a variety of Christmas decorations inspired by their signature hamper design. From festive keepsakes to ornaments shaped like their famous afternoon tea, there are plenty of ways to add a touch of Fortnum’s magic to your holiday decor.

Adventurous Advent Calendars

One of the highlights of Fortnum & Mason’s Christmas range is their diverse selection of advent calendars. From a luxury food calendar priced at £200 to a tea and biscuits calendar for £95, there is something for every taste. The beauty advent calendar, priced at £265, is always a popular choice with its luxurious skincare and makeup treats. These calendars are a fun and festive way to count down the days until Christmas.

Whimsical Woodland Designs

This year, Fortnum & Mason has embraced a whimsical woodland theme for many of their Christmas products. From charming animal motifs to reusable packaging that can be refilled year after year, these items capture the enchanting spirit of the season. Whether you’re looking for a unique gift or a special treat for yourself, these woodland-inspired designs are sure to bring joy to your holiday celebrations.

As I sampled some of the Christmas treats on offer, I was particularly impressed by the Winter Sparkling Tea. This delightful blend of Chai, Oolong, Darjeeling, Silver Needle, and Jasmine teas can be enjoyed on its own or mixed with prosecco for a festive twist. Another standout was the Christmas Classic Panettone, a traditional Italian treat made in Venice from a recipe dating back to 1882. For those looking to add a bit of indulgence to their holiday cocktails, there is even a Panettone liqueur infused with saffron.

For the little ones, Fortnum & Mason has a selection of fun foodie gifts, including edible coal that tastes like toffee and a box of chocolate reindeer noses. The reindeer noses even include a red one in homage to everyone’s favorite reindeer, adding a playful touch to the holiday season.

This year’s Christmas range from Fortnum & Mason captures the essence of traditional holiday flavors and charm that the brand is known for. With a range of prices to suit every budget, there is something special for everyone to enjoy this Christmas. As I left the event, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for the festive season ahead.

Fortnum & Mason’s Christmas range will be available online and in-store starting on September 16th. Be sure to check out their offerings and start planning for a magical holiday season filled with delicious treats and luxurious gifts.
